Hobby Update: Lords of the Wild

Hey everyone, welcome back! Apologies for my delayed posts, as you all can imagine, lots has been going on.

Anyway, I managed to get some time to finally finish up my Elvish javelin Levy. Large units, like Levy, are rarely as fun to paint as imposing heroes, big baddies, gibbering monsters, and diabolical war machines, but the meat grinder demands flesh!

These guys (and gals?) are meant to harry flanks, provide medium range missile support, and, frankly, generate SAGA dice (not everyone gets to be the star).

Here's a close up of the unit leader, because he's glamorous.

Now that this unit has been completed, only two units remain in this warband! I'm debating whether to start my Scourge (a forest dragon!) or three points of Quadrupedal Creatures (centaurs, of course). If you've got an opinion, let me know!

  1. They look great! Colours are suitably Wood-Elvish without being dull, or hiding the figures against their bases. And they're good figures: a variety of poses and a leader with... chutzpah :D
