Hobby Update: Warhammer 40,000 Iron Hands 003

Hello everyone, welcome back! This blog post covers the final touches of my intercessor squad and primaris ancient, basing. I struggled quite a bit and experimented with several different products before settling on a final method, so let's get started!

Hobby Update: Warhammer 40,000 Iron Hands 002

Hey guys, here's a quick update! Rather than tackle another squad, I decided to take a quick break and add a character to my force. Instead of going for a heavy hitter, like the Captain, I elected to hobby my Primaris Ancient.

Hobby Update: Warhammer 40,000 Iron Hands 001

Hey folks! Time for another left turn- let's paint some Space Marines! I initially started collecting Iron Hands space marines back in 2009, creating a full force of dreadnoughts, marines, speeders, heavy vehicles, and a full retinue of heroes. With the introduction of the "Rubicon Primaris" and the introduction of 9th edition, I figured it might be time to reboot my force with the new miniature line. To see some photos of my original Iron Hands army, you can see them here . To kick off my force, I acquired a Dark Imperium box set which sat on my shelf for many months, if not years. Naturally, I felt the best place to start would be with some line troopers, in this case the ubiquitous Intercessors.

Gunpla Build: RG 22 Sinanju MSN-06S (1/144): Tops and Bottoms

Hey everyone, welcome back! For this update, I pretty much am continuing last time's progress on the gunpla. The process remains the same as in the previous Sinanju post, so if you're curious, check it out here . I took a quick break to focus on another project ( see my last blog ) but now it's time to keep working on big red. This kit is a substantial amount of work, so don't be surprised if you see it pop in and out between other projects. After all, ultimately this is about having fun, not grinding the joy out my hobby. Without further ado, here's my progress. Next up, the shield and various thrusters (dorsal, leg, and hip). It's gettin' there! Stay tuned, Nick
